About Elise & Brook

Elise & Brook” are the middle names of my beautiful girls. As a woman, it is ten times harder for us to be successful. I wanted to create something that my daughters can be proud of and something they can call their own. Owning my own business has always been my dream, despite that it will add extra work and more responsibilities to what we already have. After working in corporate America for so long I was tired, worn out and unhappy and I needed to do something that can bring me joy again. I am passionate about this newer adventure and also realizing how much it releases stress; more importantly this allows me to create generational wealth, something my children would be proud of and that can stay in our family for generations to come. Our children are our greatest accomplishment and greatest gifts in life. Our greatest fear as parents is to make sure that our children are protected, healthy and happy. God blessed us with three beautiful children, our eldest has autism and what keeps us up at night is how the world will receive her if something would ever happen to us or will she ever have a regular job. I am building this business in hopes that she will never have to step in someone else’s building and only into a building with her name on it. Elise and brook offers handmade products that are environmentally friendly, safe and unique that will bring serenity, love, happiness and elegance to your home. We hope that you enjoy our products as much as we enjoyed making them.

About Ethic Goods

Ethic Goods was started in 2011 when founder Maegan Hawley noticed a problem in her closet. After accumulating all sorts of accessories while traveling, Maegan's jewelry sat on the shelf unused when she returned home. Most of the items came from social-impact organizations with the mission of empowering women. While each piece was special and represented a powerful story, the style didn’t quite fit her day-to-day life in Washington, DC. An unworn piece meant an untold story. Ethic is based in Washington, DC and is now owned by four best friends. We work with our artisans to design each line, and while we are designers by trade, our real mission is to use what we love (FASHION!) to help women across the globe heal, step into their potential, and leave a great legacy for their kids. We believe in solving problems creatively, living with purpose, and loving big. Our artisans inspire us to live a beautiful life, regardless of what has happened. We think their courageous, adventurous and resilient spirit is contagious in each piece. Our China and Thailand lines are handmade by women impacted by human trafficking. Our Ethiopia line is made by women impacted by HIV/AIDS. Each purchase helps to employ one of these women!

About Simply Chic Jewelry

At Simply Chic Jewelry, we know that life can be a bit overwhelming at times and as women, we can forget to take care of and treat ourselves. So to help, we created a line of sustainable and versatile jewelry that is meant to serve as a reminder that we are deserving of luxury at all times and it doesn't have to come with a high price. Hi, I'm Rachael! My passion for creativity started when I was really young, I grew up around two important people in my life (my grandparents) who were always using their hands to make something. My grandma loved painting, cooking, baking and crafting. My grandpa worked in his workshop building wood birdhouses, puzzles, building golf clubs, etc. He bought me a "how to" sketch book as a child. It was of the simplest little humans and creatures but I loved sitting at the dining room table and drawing with him. I didn't find out later until he passed that he owned his own carpentry company called Garling Builders. I thought he just worked for someone. Nope, he worked for himself! I see can some of myself in his story and I know he would be so proud of me. It wasn't until 2014 that I started Simply Chic Jewelry and I took it even further in 2015 by studying YouTube videos on metalsmithing techniques. After learning the basic techniques, I finally felt like I could bring my vision of everyday luxury to life. During this time my career grew as well and I felt like I could make that sustainable and versatile piece for which I was searching.

About Farm Kitchen Candle Co.

We have long believed it is the little things that truly make a house a home. A cozy throw pillow, a favorite mug and the perfect scented soy candle creates the cozy ambiance that says "I'm HOME". Farm Kitchen Candle Co. began as In The Farm Kitchen in 2012, specializing in farmhouse style home decor, vintage and antiques. We spent many years purchasing soy candles from other makers, never finding quite the combination of style, fragrance and quality we desired. Seeing a gap in the market (and forever being crafty, DIY types!) decided to try our hand at making our own. We brought our vision to life and fell in love with creating luxury, eco-friendly, top quality 100% soy wax candles. Our candles are made using 100% soy wax derived from American-grown soy beans. Our soy wax creates clean burning candles that are free of toxins, carcinogens, petroleum + pollutants. We use lead-free, zinc-free cotton braided wicks that have been primed with vegetable based wax for an eco-friendly, clean burn. Our candles are made using only premium grade fragrances + essential oils. We promise to never use additives, phthalates or preservatives. We believe that candles are one of life's little luxuries that should be celebrated and enjoyed every day! Farm Kitchen Candle Co. is located in Brownsville, Oregon and is a true small family business owned and operated by husband & wife team Kay and Marco Franciosa.

About The Paxton Press

Hi! I'm Madison, owner and designer of all of the paper goods you see here. My hands craft every part of these items, from the initial design on the computer, to the final printed product. I started my shop in 2020 as a way to encourage others in this crazy time we find ourselves in. I also saw it as a way to share my faith and to spend time with my younger brother. As a CPA, I spend my days in the world of all things tax! And at night, I spend any free moment, packaging orders, creating new items for S+J and working with my amazing customers! Pretty much all of my time is spent on tax work and running this business, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Chalkboard Candles

Chalkboard Candles were sparked from an idea I had to make eco-friendly, quality candles with a purpose.  After being an elementary school teacher for over 10 years and burning hundreds of candles in our home, I decided to combine my desire to create a richly scented, natural candle with a mission to bring awareness and gratitude to the sacrifices teachers make for their students each day.

Chalkboard Candles are richly scented, 100% natural coconut wax candles.  Every candle is created with natural essential oils along with phthalate-free premium fragrance oils and lead-free cotton wicks. We hand-pour each candle in small batches in an 11oz glass tumbler that can be reused or recycled.  Our candles burn for approximately 60+ hours and contain 8.5 oz of wax.  Each candle's school-themed scent has been hand-picked for year-round enjoyment and tested for an optimal burn.

Chalkboard Candle Co. believes more should be done to show our appreciation for teachers.  Teachers work extremely long hours, put their heart and souls into educating their students, and make a substantial impact on so many young people while being underpaid, undervalued, and under-appreciated. Chalkboard Candle Co's goal is to make sure we show teachers they are appreciated all year long.  A portion of each candle sold will go directly to a teacher via a check sent directly to them.

XO Hanalei

Our Story Hi! I’m Michelle the owner of XO Hanalei Jewelry. I was born and raised in the town of Hanalei, Kauai which is where our name comes from. XO Hanalei began when I was about 15 years old after I started making jewelry for myself as a hobby when I was fed up with overpriced jewelry that just didn't last. Eventually friends and acquaintances began commissioning me to make jewelry for them as well. At that point XO Hanalei was born. I went off to major in Studio art in Santa Barbara CA. My junior year I moved to Florence Italy for a semester to study jewelry design. I not only fell in love with the culture and jewelry designing but also my now husband. Many XO Hanalei pieces are inspired by my time in Italy and Europe as well as my hometown of Hanalei, Kauai. All of our jewelry at XO Hanalei is handcrafted and designed in Southern California using the highest quality materials possible. We pride ourselves in using all hypoallergenic and very durable materials that will last! I hope my jewelry not only makes you feel beautiful, but also inspires you to follow your dreams and passions. XO- Michelle
