Today, I'm excited to introduce you to Lindsey and Alyssa of The Woodsy Craft Co!
Lindsey is the owner and Alyssa is the designer.
The Woodsy Craft Co started with the love of being creative and bringing people together. Each one of their craft kits is made to gather friends and families of all skill levels to make something unique and memorable to hang up in their home.

1. What made you start your business? We have a sister business called Toasted Maple where we laser engrave tokens for all sorts of businesses. When the pandemic hit, we wanted to create something folks could do at home and started with our first kit at Thanksgiving - our Thankful kit. From there we have grown into having over 15 different designs to pick from.
2. Biggest accomplishment so far? Our business started as a side hustle during the pandemic and we couldn't have imagined at the time growing this product into its own business.
3. What’s something you would like people to know about being a business owner? Coming from the corporate world into starting a small business, there is SO much to learn about running a small business. I think it's important for everyone to try being in the small business world at least once in their career as it's truly been eye opening and at the same time rewarding. It takes so much hustle and heart to get a business off the ground and has been so rewarding building a team that I truly love coming into the shop each day to work with.
4. What are 3 business goals you have for the next year? We first started selling our garland kits in our own shop The Workshop in The Dalles, OR. Our community has been loving them for the past 2 years and we are now excited to be branching out and sharing them with other communities. We hope you love them as much as we do!
5. Tell us about a typical day in your life as a business owner. Oh man - there really is no typical day as a business owner. From there being so much to learn, to wearing a number of hats, it's all about trying to be diligent about goal setting and prioritization. Some days that's easier said than done, but I also love seeing where the day takes you - no one day is the same.
6. What is your best selling item? Our Adventure and Woodland Kits are our best sellers throughout the year and the Gnome and Snowflake are the favorites at the holiday.
Thank you so much! Here's where you can find them!
