About XO Hanalei

Our Story Hi! I’m Michelle the owner of XO Hanalei Jewelry. I was born and raised in the town of Hanalei, Kauai which is where our name comes from. XO Hanalei began when I was about 15 years old after I started making jewelry for myself as a hobby when I was fed up with overpriced jewelry that just didn't last. Eventually friends and acquaintances began commissioning me to make jewelry for them as well. At that point XO Hanalei was born. I went off to major in Studio art in Santa Barbara CA. My junior year I moved to Florence Italy for a semester to study jewelry design. I not only fell in love with the culture and jewelry designing but also my now husband. Many XO Hanalei pieces are inspired by my time in Italy and Europe as well as my hometown of Hanalei, Kauai. All of our jewelry at XO Hanalei is handcrafted and designed in Southern California using the highest quality materials possible. We pride ourselves in using all hypoallergenic and very durable materials that will last! I hope my jewelry not only makes you feel beautiful, but also inspires you to follow your dreams and passions. XO- Michelle

The Subtle Sawyer

Hi, I’m Emily!

I love listening to true crime podcasts, throwing back dirty sodas, snuggling my babies, and slinging power tools.

After dealing with postpartum anxiety following the birth of my son, Sawyer, I needed an outlet (and Zoloft). I had purchased a laser several months prior thinking it could be a fun “hobby,” but instead of just using it for fun, I decided to jump all-in and start The Subtle Sawyer.

Most of my first signs were cut by my husband because I was SO terrified of power tools. My role back then was to design, paint and glue the signs. I had no clue what I was doing and was constantly confused, cold (it was winter), and wondering why I started a business where I knew absolutely NOTHING. It took some time and a few ER visits, but now my husband is asking me how to use the new power tools!

A lot has changed for The Subtle Sawyer over the last 4 years and I appreciate you being here as it continues to change and evolve.

Muichic Natural Jewelry

Muichic was launched by a designer from Colombia who found inspiration when he stumbled upon this amazing raw material called “Tagua”. The sheer beauty and versatility of this seed drove him to connect the dots between green lifestyle and chic product design (hence our name Mui-Chic, as in "Very-Chic").

Muichic (moo.e.sheek) is Fair Trade, all-natural jewelry designed in Vermont and ethically handmade in Colombia. Using sustainably Tagua seeds and other natural raw materials we believe in fun, natural fashion, blending chic design with eco-consciousness.

Tagua is our main raw material: After drying, Tagua seeds become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”. These dried, hard seeds are polished, cut, dyed, and shaped into beads that become Muichic’s natural jewelry.

Organic and Sustainable: Tagua is naturally organic, it grows wild throughout the rainforests of Colombia. Tagua is sustainable, the seeds are harvested only when the fruit is ripe and has fallen to the ground, this allows the Tagua palm trees to provide valuable habitat to animals, and also assists with rainforest preservation by preventing the cutting of trees for farming or cattle.

About Vi Bella

Vi Bella is a job-creation accessories company passionate about providing a path out of poverty in impoverished areas of Haiti and Mexico. Vi Bella was started in response to a trip our Founder/CEO took to Haiti, shortly after an earthquake killed many and left others homeless, disabled, and hungry. She witnessed the extreme poverty many Haitians face; poverty which often leads parents to relinquish the care of their children to orphanages to meet their basic needs. She created Vi Bella to empower the people of Haiti to walk out of poverty through life-changing employment in a safe and encouraging work environment. But our story doesn't stop in Haiti. With two centers operational there, Vi Bella expanded to the small village of Pesqueria, Mexico. In 2017, we aquired a talented sewing team, many of whom are amputee victims from the earthquake of 2010 or members of a near-by deaf community, and started offering beautiful sewn goods. The Vi Bella story has grown to provide employment, education, and opportunity to more than 60 artisans in Haiti, Mexico, and right here in the United States. We know that preparing future generations is vital to the country's success, so we provide school scholarships and after-school programs for our artisans' children. Vi Bella strives to use sustainable, upcycled, and recycled materials in our designs, such as seeds, nuts, paper, and discarded plastic bottles found around our centers, cleaning up the communities in which we work.

About Saint Clairmont

Hi, I’m Anouk! I’m the face behind the brand and the maker of all jewelry. I started my company when I became a mother. I was a fulltime traveler and that changed into fulltime motherhood. I didn’t plan to make the jewelry myself, but I wanted to be unique and to sell good quality jewelry. So I decided to start and see if this was something I could do, and it turned that out I found a whole new passion! When I found out that I can make people happy with my jewelry, it has been my biggest drive to make beautiful, affordable jewelry, that stays beautiful and with the most precious gemstones. All the jewelry I make is made in The Netherlands, it's sustainable, strong, hypoallergenic, non tarnishing and affordable.
